Storm & Alscott Holiday Giving Campaign launches Dec 3rd!

2018-11-26

Storm & Alscott Air Systems are partnering for a Holiday Giving Campaign! Kicking off Mon, Dec 3rd until Sat, Dec 8th, Storm Soccer and Club sponsor Alscott are holding a gift drive in support of a charity of their choice, Shelter NS. Read on for all the details.....

Storm Soccer has been extremely fortunate to have Alscott Air System's sponsorship since the Club began. Their continued support has helped us keep our soccer program affordable to youth in our community.  Storm members are very familiar with the Alscott Air Systems logo, as it has been emblazoned across our orange uniform for many years!

Storm is not the only non-profit that Alscott supports, they are also champions of other local worthy organizations. Among them is Shelter Nova Scotia, who supports people in times of crisis and transition through residential, trustee and outreach programs. (www.shelternovascotia.com)

This holiday season, Storm Soccer is pleased to partner with Alscott to support their efforts as they help other Nova Scotian's in times of need. In this spirit, we are reaching out to our Storm community to see if they can give the gift of comfort this season by donating items from the Shelter Nova Scotia's Holiday wish list.

Here's how you can help share some comfort:

1. Have a look below at the attached Shelter Nova Scotia Holiday wish list. There is an array of items to choose from which will brighten someone's day in the cold months ahead.

2. Our joint Holiday gift drive campaign with Alscott will run from Mon, Dec 3rd until Sat, Dec 8th. Please take any items you wish to donate to your team practice, and give them to your team manager / coach.

3. At the end of the campaign, all items collected by Storm will be added to the donations gathered at the Alscott office and delivered to Shelter Nova Scotia the following week!

We know Storm is a tight knit, warm hearted, generous community....our members see it in their players, coaches, managers, sponsors, parents and volunteers season after season. Let's use this as an opportunity to provide comfort to others who could use a helping hand!

If you have any questions about our Holiday Gift Campaign, please email Susan Goupil at susangoupil@hotmail.com.

Gratitude is extended to our Storm family and Alscott Air Systems!
