A Friday afternoon well spent....

North Dartmouth Boys & Girls Club

Four of our dedicated Storm Coaches had a great afternoon with the children from the North Dartmouth Boys & Girls Club, where they ran a two hour "Coaching Clinic" for thirty kids, introducing them to the game of soccer!
Since its inception, Storm’s main objective has been to provide inexpensive and accessible soccer programming to all children in our community, as well as spread the word about what a great sport soccer can be. On Friday, July 24th, some of our coaches had the opportunity to share their passion for the game!

In partnership with The Dartmouth Learning Network, Storm helped to organize a fun skills and drills session, followed by the ever popular scrimmage. After honing their skills on the pitch, each player received an Adidas ball, three wonderful books on soccer, a t-shirt, and a treat card to complete their "introduction to soccer" experience.  Many thanks to Lesley Dunn, Executive Director at the Dartmouth Learning Network, for going above and beyond in gathering all of these items for the players.....they were very well received!

A special thanks to Storm Coaches Simon Wilson, Rodrigo Machado, Mark Harper, and Noah Lincourt for running an amazing session.  Their enthusiam, dedication, and knowledge that our Storm players benefit from each week has now been shared with more youth from our community. Thanks is also extended to Logan Morris and Henry Goupil, who were also on hand acting as "Assistant Coaches", and in Logan's case, referee during the scrimmage session.

Storm Soccer Club may be small, but we are striving to stay true to our roots, and are doing good "work" right here in our community.
