Coaches

Simon Wilson, Mike Lynch and Mark Harper are originally from Europe, but now live in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia with their families. They all have one common passion: football (soccer).

All three coaches played competitive regional soccer, during their schooling and at University. Simon, Mike and Mark continue to play masters level soccer in Halifax, Nova Scotia today.

Mike Lynch and Mark Harper were recently awarded the ‘Coach of the Year - 2010’ award by their peers at Dartmouth United Soccer Club in the ‘Youth Girls’ and ‘Youth Boys’ coaching programs, respectively.

Storm recently added Stuart MacCormack (U-12'C' Boys) and Jon Hughes (U-14'B' Boys) to their team.

All coaches have completed the Canadian Soccer Association’s (CSA) Community Children’s, Youth and Adult soccer certifications and are registered through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).

Mike Lynch is currently pursuing his 'Pre-B' soccer licence with the CSA
